The heart of a young girl is often driven by passion, and for Alicia this is perhaps more true than for most. Her desires and interests are as powerful as they are fleeting (most of the time); in her early years and even now she'll take something up like it's the best thing in the world only to declare it boring five minutes later and forget it ever happened. As a result, she half-remembers a bunch of otherwise-useless trivia about all kinds of things. In fact, she became a Pokémon Trainer a few years later than most people because she was distracted enough by other things that she didn't care about it... at least, not until she caught world tournament finals on TV and summarily declared her intentions. Taking her family's Growlithe and not much else with her (her mom was not happy, since Alicia had literally just blown up the kitchen), she began a not particularly glorious journey on which she met, befriended, and/or captured the Pokémon in the comments below and a few more.

As a Trainer, her strategy is simple: Overpower the other guy before they knock you out. It's straightforward and impressive when it works, so why not? (Adding to this tendency was the fact that many of her first few 'mons took hits much like wet tissue paper does). She does, occasionally, go on the defensive, but usually only with specific Pokémon, such as Mauler, that are better suited to it, as she recognizes that Pokémon excel in different areas (although even her usually non-squishies tend to be squishier than average). And if it comes to fisticuffs, she tends to just... punch stuff really hard.

In another kind of pinch, it kind of depends. She will run if she thinks she's over her head, but it usually takes imminent mortal peril to do that. Creepy stuff happening? Eh, she's fine. SELF-DESTRUCT SEQUENCE ACTIVATED? She's out of there, even if there is a chance to disable the timer. This doesn't mean she won't actually be scared; she usually just acts like she isn't and stays cautious.

When talking to others, she's extremely blunt: never afraid to talk her mind and generally having none of your stuff. Her banter tends to be the same way: with not very many witty comments, mostly "Take this!" with slight amounts of trashtalking. Well, unless she's actually worried she'll lose, in which case she'll just stop talking except to give commands and focus on the battle. If she does lose, she gets sore about it if she saw it coming (and then forgets later) and totally speechless if there was a sudden turnaround (but doesn't forget).

Her Pokémon are all named according to the following rule: (verb)+(er/or)*; this is largely because of how she values action.

*depending on which one is the right suffix, although sometimes she gets it wrong
